DISCIPLESHIP
Growing toward wholeness in the image of God.
Who are you in Christ?
Each of us will benefit from increased clarity and ability to communicate:
1) our own journey of faith, and
2) how God has gifted and called us to serve
Who we are as a congregation is of course an outgrowth of who we are as a collection of individuals, and vice versa. Toward this end, I invite you to reflect upon these two topics and respond to these questions.

Gifted and Called to Serve
Each of us will benefit from increased clarity and ability to communicate:

2) how God has gifted and called us to serve
Who we are as a congregation is of course an outgrowth of who we are as a collection of individuals, and vice versa. Toward this end, I invite you to reflect upon these two topics and respond to these questions.
Your Faith Journey
- Describe when you first became aware of God's love for you and how. Where were you? Who was involved in bringing this awareness to you?
- Describe how you decided to follow Jesus. Who was involved in helping you come to this decision?
- What have been some significant moments in your journey of faith? These are typically life's "highs" or "lows" - moments of significant blessing or crisis.
Gifted and Called to Serve
- If you're aware of your spiritual gifts, what do you believe them to be?
- If you're not aware of how you are gifted and called to serve, consider the following:
- What do you do particularly well?
- What brings you joy?
- Where do you find God? During what experiences or activities?
- When do you find that you are able to be a blessing to others?
- What areas of need in the world are most compelling for you? Where do you most want to make a difference?
- A wonderful resource for this discernment is called S.H.A.P.E. You can learn more about it below.
