We want to be proactive, not reactive. We want to take the situation seriously and act to keep our community healthy and avoid unnecessary risks. So...
1) Actions we have taken: disbursed hand sanitizer more widely around the campus; started using gloves to prepare communion; all serving communion use hand sanitizer before; encouraging elbow mumps or "hands together bow" in lieu of handshakes. 2) What are your own personal thoughts about your personal risk level and toleranace and what you think you need to do? 3) Elders, please reach out to the folks in your family group who are active and get feedback from them. How anxious are they? 4) The situation is obviously fluid. We will watch day to day and make decisions as staff and executive com. If you have concerns, please let myself, Russell, Anne or the church office know.
