ABOUT WESTSIDE WELLNESS
Central Christian Church of Dallas is the campus host to a wide range of life-giving programs and partnerships, through which we all together experience God’s transforming love. These partnerships focus particularly on Diversity and Inclusion, Creativity and the Arts, and Wholeness and Flourishing. Around the city we talk about the campus at 4711 as Central Westside – “A hub of community engagement, innovation and impact.” Westside Wellness is the latest addition to this growing and vibrant work of God.

We understand that wherever true healing takes place, wherever people come together to serve one another, wherever hope and joy and peace are found and increased, there is the presence of God, the work of Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit that create, renew and sustain us.
We are so excited about the wonderful potential for the Westside Wellness Center - a place of holistic healing in the heart of our community. This healing work is most assuredly the work of the Kingdom of God on Earth as it is in Heaven. Everywhere Jesus went people experienced the flow of healing power as their longing met with God's divine spark emanating from Jesus. The flow of this healing Spirit is the same energy that raised Jesus from the dead and still animates the work of the church at our best. Our providing this space also facilitates the emerging of many health and wellness practitioners in the community who are longing to express their gifts more fully. And along the way we get to be in community with these partners and all the amazing people who are drawn to Central Westside because of their life-giving work.
 
It's thanks to the vision and passion of Kirsten Joy Burch, owner of Living Yoga Dallas and Prani Life Holistic Health Consulting, that we are able to bring this vision to fruition. Kirsten is passionate about helping practitioners experience the wellbeing that comes from integrating body, mind and spirit. Westside Wellness will nurture the professional practice of teachers and healers by providing welcoming studio, training and treatment rooms. Participants in classes and other healing modalities join their will, intention and practice with that of skilled guides who help activate the healing power that resides in each one of us as beloved children of God.
